CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's heavyweight rowing fell in the Compton Cup this morning despite strong performances from its top-four varsity eights against the Princeton Tigers.
The Crimson pressured the Tigers in each of the four races but was ultimately only victorious in the third varsity eight race. The boat was comprised of
Iris Hennin (cox); Benny Zeisberg (stroke),
Liam Downing,
Owen Finnerty,
Jordan Dykema,
Lachlan Roach,
Simon Nunayon, Kalu Varney, and
George Burney (bow).
As Harvard finished with a time of 6:01.7, it bested the Tiger's boat by more than two seconds as Princeton finished in 6:03.9.
