CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's water polo fell to Michigan, 12-7, in the semifinal round of the CWPA tournament on Saturday. The Crimson showed a solid effort in the loss, but ultimately could not hold off the Wolverines. Harvard will now play tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. against the loser of the Princeton vs. Brown game for a chance to claim third place in the CWPA tournament.
HARVARD HIGHLIGHTS
- Emma Gilbert netted a hat trick on the day and also added one assist and one block.
- Fellow first-year and CWPA Rookie of the Year Maya O'Dea scored two goals for the Crimson and added two block and one steal.
- Ruby Hodge and Sasha Constandse each tallied one goal and one assist.
- Alexis Kieckhafer made five saves for Harvard.
