Women’s Water Polo Preps for Three Conference Matchups

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 18 Harvard women's water polo will take on three CWPA opponents in Lewisburg, PA this weekend on the campus of Bucknell University.
 
On Saturday, April 6, Harvard will face Bucknell at 12:30 p.m. and No. 11 Michigan at 6:00 p.m.  On Sunday, April 7, Harvard closes out the weekend against Saint Francis University at 10:30 a.m.

WHAT TO KNOW 

  • The Crimson is coming off a trip to Arizona and California, in which the team defeated No. 21 San Diego State and dropped three games to top-ten opponents.
  • Last season, Harvard defeated Bucknell in all three outings, including a 23-10 win in the first round of the CWPA Championship tournament. Sasha Constandse scored five goals, two assists, and two steals to lead the Crimson in the game.
  • Harvard also narrowly defeated then-ranked No. 9 Michigan in the CWPA semifinals after falling to them two times earlier in the 2023 season. Ruby Hodge netted two goals and added three steals in the victory.
  • The Crimson cruised past SFU last season in the two meetings between the Crimson and the Red Flash.

NEXT UP 

The Crimson will return home on Saturday, April 13 to celebrate senior day at Blodgett Pool. Harvard will face No. 15 Princeton at 10:00 a.m.
