Sam King Named a USILA All-American

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Sam King continues to receive high praise from around the nation as today the Harvard junior attack was announced as a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Third-Team All-American. King has now been named an All-American by all three major college lacrosse organizations and puts this honor right beside his Second-Team nod from USA Lacrosse and his Third-Team appointment from Inside Lacrosse. A Baltimore native, King becomes the first Third-Team All-American at Harvard since the 2016 season.

King's spot on the third-team was secured after a historic 2024 campaign that saw the junior attack rack up 73 points with 38 goals and 35 assists. The NCAA's stat leader, King also added 44 ground balls and six caused turnovers to lead the country in total statistics. King was also the only player in the country to record 70-plus points, 35-plus goals, 35-plus assists and 40-plus ground balls during the regular season.

The 2024 Tewaaraton Award nominee earned his third career All-Ivy award this season after ranking second in the nation with 5.62 points per game and 11th in the nation in goals per game with 2.92. His 73 points were the third-most in a single season in Harvard men's lacrosse program history. Currently sitting at sixth on the Harvard men's lacrosse career points list King will return to the Crimson in 2025 to help the group attempt to return to the Ivy League and NCAA tournaments.
