Jade Rose and Team Canada competed in a thrilling quarterfinal showdown against Germany at the 2024 Paris Olympics. After 120 minutes of action on the pitch, Germany advanced to the semifinals after besting Canada in a penalty shootout, 4-2. Canada entered the 2024 Paris Olympics as the defending gold medalists.
The first half saw both attacks limited by stellar defensive play, as Canada created two shots in the first half. After the second period of action went scoreless, Canada and Germany could not find a goal in the 30 minutes of extra time. Two saves from German keeper Ann-Kartin Berger sent Germany to the semifinals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Rose started her fourth straight match at the 2024 Paris Olympics, as she anchored the Canadian backline for the entirety of the 120-minute match. In all, Rose played 270 minutes for Team Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
