CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's basketball (13-2, 2-1 Ivy) bounced back and reentered the win column this afternoon by defeating Brown (7-9, 1-2 Ivy), 83-53.

Harmoni Turner's third 30+ point performance of the season as the senior contributed 33 points on 64.7% (11-of-17 FG, 6-of-12 3PT) shooting, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Nine Crimson scored on the day including
Katie Krupa who joined Turner in double figures with 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting.
How it Happened
The first five minutes of the contest was a back-and-forth affair before the Crimson broke out on an 8-0 run to pull ahead 17-9. Harvard continued to control the remainder of the frame, doubling up the Bears after ten minutes to lead 26-13. The Crimson shot 58.8% from the field in the frame and Turner got to work early, connecting for half of Harvard's first quarter points.
Harvard continued to grow its lead in the second quarter, holding the Bears scoreless for the final three and a half minutes. The Crimson defense collected four steals and held Brown to just 11 points on 21.4% shooting to extend its advantage to 48-24 heading into the locker room. At the break eight Crimson already recorded points and Turner surpassed 20 points while shooting 66.7%.
After allowing a bucket early, Harvard's defense again stalled the Bears for the following four minutes. Despite a more consistent offensive battle in the third, the Crimson continued to hold a dominant leading at 66-39 heading into the final ten minutes.
Brown put up its best shooting performance of the contest in the final frame but Harvard once again won the quarter, solidifying the 30-point victory. In the Crimson made at least three triples in each quarter as Harvard put up its most buckets from distance of the season with 14.

- The Crimson improve to 13-2 overall and 2-1 in the conference, now sitting at third in the league standings.
- As a team, the Crimson shot 45.5% from the field (30-of-66), 38.9% (14-of-36) from distance, and 90% from the charity stripe (9-of-10). Harvard's 14 triples marks its highest total of the season after the team struggled from deep in its last time out.
- Harmoni Turner surpassed 30 points for the third time this season, adding 33 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the first and 6-of-12 from distance. Additionally, the senior added four rebounds, three assists, and three steals in the contest.
- Saniyah Glenn-Bello flirted with a double-double in the game, adding nine points and grabbing nine rebounds.
- Katie Krupa contributed 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field including draining a trio of triples.
- Nine Crimson contributed points against the Bears as the Crimson put up its third highest scoring output of the season and its highest of Ivy League play so far.
- The Crimson defense forced the Bears into its highest turnover total of the season with 23. Harvard capitalized for 20 points off Brown's miscues.
- Harvard won the rebounding battle, grabbing 38 boards to the Bear's 30.
- The Crimson improve to 63-34 all-time against the Bears and grew its win streak against the foe to 18.
