CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore guard
Robert Hinton scored a game-high 21 points, 14 members of the Crimson entered the scoring column, and Harvard Men's Basketball beat UMass Boston, 107-58, in an exhibition game on Thursday night at Lavietes Pavilion.
Playing in its home exhibition debut and in its exhibition finale, the Crimson held a 54-23 lead at halftime and gained a lead as large as 51 points in the second half on its way to the victory.

As a team, Harvard shot 61.2 percent (41-of-67) from the field, 70.6 percent (12-of-17) from 3-point distance, and 92.9 percent (13-of-14) from the free throw line.

- Sophomore guard Robert Hinton scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-10 field goals, 2-of-2 3-pointers, and 3-of-3 free throws to go with four rebounds. Hinton netted 21 points in each of the Crimson's two exhibition games.

How It Happened
- Holding a 9-8 lead at the 13:46 mark of the first half, Harvard used an 11-0 run to pull ahead 20-8 with 10:54 left in the opening half during a stretch in which Hinton converted two old-fashioned 3-point plays and first-year guard Frankie Mannino hit a 3-pointer.
- Harvard expanded its lead to 18 points at 30-12 following 3-pointers from Hinton and junior guard Xavier Nesbitt.
- The Crimson later used a 14-3 run to take a 44-16 advantage with 3:35 to play until halftime with Batties II and Piggé each hitting 3-pointers during the run.
- Harvard maintained a 54-25 lead at halftime.
- Remaining ahead 65-38 with 16:06 to go, the Crimson used an 11-2 spurt to take a 76-40 lead with 12:29 remaining as Parrish scored seven points during the spurt.
- A layup from Mannino gave the Crimson a 40-point margin at 84-44 with 10:02 to play before consecutive layups from Sullivan made the difference 92-48 with 6:12 on the clock.
- Inside of the final five minutes, the Crimson gained its largest lead at 51 points at 107-56 following a stretch in which first-year guard Joseph Quartey hit a 3-pointer, first-year forward Avner Dror and senior guard Greg Cooper each converted a bucket, and sophomore guard Dutch Dowdell knocked down two 3-pointers.
