CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard Men's Lacrosse team is set to continue its 2025 Fall Experience schedule this week when it travels to the Philadelphia area for its scrimmage weekend. Awaiting the Crimson will be the preseason No. 1 team in the nation, the Maryland Terrapins. The sides will battle this Saturday (Oct. 11) at Springfield High School as the Crimson continues its preparation for the upcoming Spring season.
The matchup against Maryland is set for 1:30 PM at Springfield Delco High School just outside Philadelphia. Admission to the event is free of charge and fans, parents and alums are encouraged to come support the team at the event.
The Fall scrimmage will be the first time that the 2026 team will play in a competitive game together and will serve as the next step in the group's progress towards the 2026 season. This will also be the first opportunity for the fans to see the Crimson's new first-years compete in the Crimson and White.
No stranger to high level Fall matchups, Harvard will compete against the preseason No. 1 for the second consecutive year after scrimmaging Notre Dame in Chicago a year ago. Previous matchups included games against Maryland and Lehigh in 2023 and a trip to Washington D.C. in 2022 to take on North Carolina in the Bob Kemp Classic.
