ORLANDO, Fla. – Melchior Delloye and
Benjamin Privara battled but fell in the opening round in the NCAA Men's Singles Championships today in Orlando, Fla.
To begin the day, Privara faced off with Jakub Vrba (Arkansas) in a three-set battle. After falling in the opening set, 6-4, Privara responded with his own 6-4 win in the second set. Vrba ultimately stole the match by winning 6-1 in the decisive third set.
This evening, Delloye battled against Edward Winter (Pepperdine). In his first NCAA Tournament appearance the Harvard senior fell 6-2, 6-3.
