CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's volleyball (6–14, 5–7 Ivy) capped off its final home match of the season in thrilling fashion, sweeping Brown (13–8, 8–4 Ivy) 3–0 (25–21, 25–20, 26–24) on Senior Night inside the Malkin Athletic Center. The Crimson snapped the Bears' three-match win streak over Harvard while celebrating seniors
Brynne Faltinsky,
Hannah Nguyen, and

How It Happened
The Crimson set the tone early as
Sofia Rossi opened the match with a service ace. After several exchanges, a smart tip and kill from Rossi gave Harvard back the lead. Halfway through the set, the Crimson gained momentum behind strong attacks from Faltinsky and
Ryleigh Patterson, building a 13–9 advantage during a key scoring run. Rossi added a kill to make it 19–16 before Faltinsky's late kills extended the lead to 23–19. A final kill from Rossi sealed the 25–21 win to take the opening frame.
Harvard carried its energy into the second set, jumping to a 6–1 lead highlighted by early kills from Patterson and Faltinsky, and a pair of blocks from Patterson and
Ali Farquhar. After Brown challenged a call,
Taylor Larkin responded with a momentum-shifting kill to keep the Crimson ahead 15–10.
Sophia Wei delivered back-to-back aces late in the set as Harvard stretched its lead to 22–17 before closing the set 25–20 following a Brown service error.
In a nail-biting third set, both teams traded points early with multiple long rallies and defensive stands. Patterson dominated at the net with four blocks in the first half of the set, pushing Harvard ahead 9–6. The Crimson continued to rely on its front line, with Patterson, Larkin, and Faltinsky each contributing key points. Brown fought back to tie it at 19–19 and again at 24–24, but Faltinsky's kill gave Harvard the 25–24 edge. A huge block from Farquhar and Patterson closed out the sweep, 26–24, sending the seniors off with a huge win.
