Bartrum, Craig Named to All-ECAC Football Team

DANBURY, Conn. – Harvard Football seniors Ty Bartrum and Jaden Craig have been named to the 2025 Division I FCS Football All-ECAC Team, it was announced today.

For Bartrum, the honor is one on a long list of postseason accolades for the Crimson team captain. The senior from Pomeroy, Ohio, was named an All-American by the Associated Press and FCS Football Central, captured the Gridiron Club of Greater Boston's Bulger Lowe Award (defensive player of the year), and voted to the All-Ivy League First Team and to the New England Football Writers Association's All-New England Team.

Bartrum finished the season ranked second on the team with 83 tackles, while adding 0.5 tackles for loss, one interception, three pass breakups, one quarterback hurry and two forced fumbles. The defensive back ended his season by reaching the double-figure tackle total in his final three outings, with 14 apiece vs. Penn and at Yale, and 11 at Villanova.

Craig, meanwhile, adds recognition from the ECAC after earning a spot on the All-Ivy League First Team and the NEFWA's All-New England Team. The Walter Payton Award finalist, who set the Harvard career record for passing touchdowns and passing yards, threw for more than 300 yards five times and tossed multiple TDs on seven different occasions. Craig ultimately ended his time in Cambridge with 52 passing TDs and 6,074 yards.

Harvard is coming off a year that saw it earn a national ranking for a majority of the campaign, including a top-10 mark the final three weeks of the regular season, and secure its third consecutive Ivy League championship. The Crimson posted a 9-2 record (6-1 Ivy) and received an at-large bid to the NCAA FCS Playoffs in the Ivy's first season of eligibility.

The ECAC is an 86-year-old intercollegiate athletics organization with roughly 200 member schools for traditional sports across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III - that exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in NCAA sports, and provide great value for universities, by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the country. The ECAC also hosts a comprehensive esports program, with over 300 schools, 4,000 teams and 10,000-plus participants in 24 different games titles.
