Men’s Tennis Goes 2-0 in Sunday Doubleheader

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 11 Harvard men's tennis (11-3, 0-0 Ivy) went 2-0 in its Sunday doubleheader beginning with a 4-2 victory over nationally ranked foe, No. 36 Middle Tennessee, and concluded with a sweep of Quinnipiac.

Men's Tennis Records its Third Ranked Win of the Season

To open the day, Harvard battled through the first three matches to collect its 11th doubles point of the season.  After falling at the top court, the Crimson grabbed identical 6-4 results on court two and three to move up 1-0 in the match.

Harvard quickly moved a point away from clinching the match as Daniel Milavsky and Mitchell Lee recorded victories at court one and six, respectively.  Lee recorded his second career dual victory, defeating his opponent with an impressive 6-2, 6-3 result.  Milavsky then tallied his tenth victory of the young season, dropping Kacper Szymkowaik (MTSU) in straight sets (7-6 (6), 6-3).

The Raiders tested Harvard, collecting points with victories at the No. 3 and 5 positions.  Despite a push from the foe, the Crimson were able to close out the win as Melchior Delloye defeated Ondrej Horak (MTSU) in three sets (6-4, 3-6, 6-3).
