CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 11 Harvard men's tennis (11-3, 0-0 Ivy) went 2-0 in its Sunday doubleheader beginning with a 4-2 victory over nationally ranked foe, No. 36 Middle Tennessee, and concluded with a sweep of Quinnipiac.
Men's Tennis Records its Third Ranked Win of the Season
To open the day, Harvard battled through the first three matches to collect its 11
th doubles point of the season. After falling at the top court, the Crimson grabbed identical 6-4 results on court two and three to move up 1-0 in the match.
Harvard quickly moved a point away from clinching the match as
Daniel Milavsky and
Mitchell Lee recorded victories at court one and six, respectively. Lee recorded his second career dual victory, defeating his opponent with an impressive 6-2, 6-3 result. Milavsky then tallied his tenth victory of the young season, dropping Kacper Szymkowaik (MTSU) in straight sets (7-6 (6), 6-3).
The Raiders tested Harvard, collecting points with victories at the No. 3 and 5 positions. Despite a push from the foe, the Crimson were able to close out the win as
Melchior Delloye defeated Ondrej Horak (MTSU) in three sets (6-4, 3-6, 6-3).

Men's Tennis Sweeps Quinnipiac to Close Weekend
The Crimson went right back to work against the Bobcats beginning with a strong doubles performance.
Mitchell Lee and
Rohan Murali began with an impressive 6-1 victory on court three before
Melchior Delloye and
Valdemar Pape recorded their second clinching win of the day with a 6-3 victory at the top spot.
Harvard then went on to dominant singles play, winning in straight sets on five of the six courts. At the top spot,
Masato Perera dropped just two games in his victory, defeating Daniel Velek (Quinnipiac), 6-2, 6-0.
Both appearing for the first time in singles action this spring,
Elisha Thornton and
David Lins grabbed victories at court four and five to help the Crimson sweep the Bobcats.
