Truman Pauley brought a no-hitter into the ninth inning of game two as Harvard University baseball took game two, 3-2, after dropping a narrow 1-0 decision in game one in an Ivy League doubleheader against Princeton University on Friday afternoon at O'Donnell Field.

Pauley threw 8.1 innings of no-hit baseball for the Crimson (5-21, 3-8 Ivy) in the game's second contest after junior right-hander
Callan Fang did not allow a run over the first seven innings in the series opener before the Tigers (8-24, 5-6 Ivy) scored once in the eighth to take the decision.

How It Happened
- Harvard plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the third to take a 2-0 lead. After Giberti and Rickheim both reached on bunt singles to start the frame, Lybrook and Shulman each hit RBI singles to give the Crimson a lead that it would not relinquish.
- Pauley struck out two batters in each of the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings to continue to keep the Tigers off the board.
- The Crimson moved ahead 3-0 in the bottom of the seventh as Cooper led off the inning with a single to right field before Shulman sent an RBI single to left field to bring Cooper home later in the frame.
- Pauley racked up another pair of strikeouts to bring his no-hit bid into the ninth inning.
- In the top of the ninth, the Tigers notched their first run of the game on an RBI double to trim the difference to 3-1. After an RBI single made the score 3-2, McHugh induced a double play to conclude the game.Â
