CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Two-time defending Ivy League Tournament champion Harvard field hockey welcomes seven incoming first-years ahead of the 2025 campaign. The Class of 2029 features student-athletes from five different nations, as the incoming first-years will add talent and leadership to the roster.
Lucy Barker | Malton, England | Forward
A member of the England U18 team during the 2023-24 season … Helped Repton Hockey win the U18 English national championships during the 2024-25 campaign … Earned Player of the Season honors at Repton Hockey during the 2024-25 season … Aided Repton School to the U18 girls indoor national championship … Also participated in Netball and Tennis at Repton School.
Linde Burger | Heerhugowaard, Netherlands | Goalkeeper
Minded the net for club teams HV de Terriërs and Ladies First during her youth career … Played in the Overgangsklasse league with ladies first during the 2024-25 season … Spent the 2020-21 season in the Field Hockey Academy Program in Amsterdam.
Josephine Carollo | St. Louis, Missouri | Midfield
Played three years of varsity field hockey with Saint Joseph's Academy from 2022 to 2024 … spent eight years with Aim Field Hockey in the club system … Ranked in the top-150 of Max Field Hockey's Class of Top 150 player rankings … Garnered All-West/Midwest All-Region honors … All-Saint Louis Metro League First Team honoree in 2023 and 2024 … All-Saint Louis Metro League Second Team selection in 2022 … Led Saint Joseph's Academy to Missouri state championship game in 2023.
Brooke Chandler | Auckland, New Zealand | Defense
A member of Future Blacksticks during the 2024-25 season, New Zealand's national U18 team … Helped Tridents Team win the New Zealand national Junior Hockey league in 2025 … Helped Auckland's Senior Women won the New Zealand Senior National Championships in 2024 … Is also a high level Equestrian athlete.
Shakila Keable | Bletchingley, England | Midfield
Selected for England's U16 team for the 2022-23 season … Spent the 2024-25 season with Barnes HC first ladies team … Also served as Epsom College's vice captain for the first XI … Also enjoyed success in cross country and track & field.
Rosa Kooijmans | Bussum, Netherlands | Midfield
A member of the Netherland's U18 national team … Compete in the top-flight Overgangsklasse team with Gooische field hockey team … Helped HC Naarden win the U14 and U16 indoor championships … Also competed in tennis during her youth career.
Caroline Morris | Stellenbosch, South Africa | Forward
A member of Bolan Hockey team in club competition … Led Boland in goal scoring in 2023 … Won the Challengers Cup field hockey tournament in 20204 … Also took home a championship in the Belgotex Field Hockey Tournament … Also played tennis in her youth career.
