Women's Rugby Places Fifth in CRAA National 7s Tournament

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Harvard women's rugby placed fifth in the CRAA USA Rugby National 7s Tournament, finishing the tournament with a big win over Lindenwood, 31-5. The Crimson completed the tournament with a 3-2 record overall. 

Game 1: Quarterfinal Army 12, Harvard 10

Harvard opened the tournament against a strong Army side, who jumped to an early lead with two quick tries, threatening to pull away.

The Crimson responded with a powerful try from Lennox London, who stiff-armed her defender twice en route to the score.

With just minutes remaining, Victoria Stanley capped off a long offensive possession by slicing down the sideline for a try, narrowing the gap to 12–10.

Despite the late surge, Harvard couldn't regain possession before time expired and dropped the close match.

Game 2: Plate Semifinal – Harvard 29, Princeton 21

Ava Ference opened the scoring with a try and conversion, giving Harvard early momentum.
Senior Reese Morgan followed with a highlight-reel play, stripping the ball from a Princeton player and taking it all the way for his first try of the tournament.

Lennox London added another try before senior Carly Lehman ran the length of the field for a score, extending the Crimson lead.

London sealed the game with her second try, securing a 29–21 victory and a spot in the fifth-place final.

Game 3: 5th Place Final – Harvard 31, Lindenwood 5

Harvard came out firing in the final game. Jara Emtage-Cave ignited the scoring with a long run to make it 7–0.

Victoria Stanley followed with a burst of speed for another try, pushing the lead to 14–0.

Lennox London added to her impressive tournament performance with another try—bringing her day total to four.

Stanley scored once more before time expired, securing a dominant 31–5 win and a fifth-place finish for Harvard.
