Harvard-Radcliffe Heavyweights Complete Day One at NCAA Championship Weekend

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. – The Harvard-Radcliffe heavyweight crew wrapped up day one of the 2025 NCAA Championship with strong efforts across all three boats. The varsity four secured a third-place finish in its heat, advancing to Saturday's AB semifinal, while the varsity eight advances to the CD final and the second varsity eight advances to the AB semifinal.

On Saturday, Harvard-Radcliffe will return to the water for three key semifinal races at the NCAA Championship. The first varsity eight will compete in the CD semifinal at 8:24 a.m., racing against crews from Rhode Island, Boston, UCF, and Oregon State for placement opportunities in Sunday's finals. Shortly after, the second varsity eight will line up in the AB semifinal at 9:36 a.m., facing off against top-ranked boats from Michigan, Yale, Washington, Princeton, and Brown with a spot in the grand final on the line. Rounding out the day, the varsity four will race in its AB semifinal at 10:24 a.m., taking on a strong field including Tennessee, Princeton, Texas, Stanford, and Syracuse. All three boats will look to build on their opening day efforts and secure the best possible finish heading into the final day of competition.
