CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Four distinguished Harvard Women's Rugby alumni have earned selection to the 2025 USA Rugby Women's Eagles World Cup roster: Cassidy Bargell '22, Cheta Emba '15, Maya Learned '18, and Erica Jarrell-Searcy '22. The highly anticipated tournament will be held in England, with the United States set to play on August 22, August 30, and September 6. All matches will stream live on Paramount+.
This year's tournament marks a major milestone in the evolution of the women's game. For the first time in history, the Women's Rugby World Cup will feature 16 teams, expanded from the traditional 12, and will be staged across several premier English venues, including the iconic Twickenham Stadium.
