Men’s Tennis Falls to Middle Tennessee in Midweek Battle

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Harvard men's tennis (0-2) was tripped up by Middle Tennessee State (3-0), 6-1, in its final match in Tennessee yesterday evening.

Kolos Kincses and Rohan Murali tallied their first win of the dual season and improved to 6-2 on the year while recording the Crimson's sole doubles victory.  The Harvard pair defeated Birtan Duran and Antoine Mayoral (MTSU), 6-4, at the third spot.  MTSU was previously victorious at court one and then sealed the doubles point with their own 6-4 result at court two.

The Blue Raiders continued their strong play immediately in singles, rattling off wins down the ladder.  The match was ultimately sealed with their win at court six.

Despite the loss, Nathan Blokhin was a bright spot for the Crimson, recording his second win in as many matches.  The first-year is the first to surpass double digit singles victories in 2025-26 with his straight set, 6-3, 7-6 (5), win over Jonasz Dziopak (MTSU) on court three.
