Ip, Speidell Named Nike Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-Americans

BALTIMORE, Md. – Two Harvard men's lacrosse student-athletes were represented on the Nike Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America selections, announced by the organization this afternoon (Jan. 28). Logan Ip and Jack Speidell each earned a spot on the list with Ip garnering a spot on the second team while Jack Speidell landed on the Honorable Mention list. The duo recently landed on USA Lacrosse Preseason All-America teams ahead of the program's highly anticipated 2026 season.

A senior midfielder out of California, Logan Ip landed on the second team after being named to the 2025 USA Lacrosse Third Team All-America a season ago. The Corona Del Mar and West Coast Starz product set career highs last year, posting 38 points, 23 goals and 15 assists while also serving as a junior captain. A deadly shooter from the midfield, Ip ranked fifth in the NCAA with a .489 shooting percentage while putting 81-percent of his shots on cage. Returning to captain the Crimson in 2026, Ip earned Honorable Mention All-America honors from the USILA and Inside Lacrosse while also being named an All-Ivy First Team selection in the 2025 season.

A breakout sophomore season for Jack Speidell helped him earn a post on the third team this preseason. A Long Island native, Speidell scored 3.07 goals per game in 2025 – the eighth most in the NCAA – and poured in 46 total goals to lead the Crimson attack. A 2025 USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American, Speidell landed on the All-Ivy Second Team a year ago after totaling 59 points while adding seven caused turnovers.

The Nike Lacrosse Media All-Americans are selected by a collection of more than a dozen voters who also vote in the weekly Media Poll. Voters submitted first-, second-, third- and honorable mention teams; those were tallied, with players receiving the highest vote totals sorted into teams. Honorable Mention players consist of players who did not earn enough votes to make one of the three teams but still had a significant number of votes.
