CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's golf team will be back on the course next week when it travels to Austin, Texas to compete in the 2026 Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational on Monday and Tuesday (Mar. 16-17). The Crimson will begin its four-tournament Spring season at the University of Texas Golf Club in a tournament that featured a competitive field of teams. After posting three top-five finishes in the Fall, Harvard will look to continue its progression when it hits the course this week.

Notes and Storylines
- Harvard will begin its four-tournament Spring season in Austin at the University of Texas' Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational.
- This will be the Crimson's first ever appearance in the event.
- Harvard has only competed in Texas one time in program history. The appearance was also at the University of Texas Golf Club during the 2007-08 NCAA Central Regional.
- The Crimson will compete in a field that features seven teams ranked in the Scoreboard by Clippd Top 50.
- Harvard posted three top-five finishes this Fall including two third-place finishes at the Quinnipiac Classic (Oct. 13-14) and the Lady Blue Hen Invitational (Oct. 18-19).
- Vanessa Zhang captured the individual championships at both tournaments and was named the Ivy League Golfer of the Month for October after the performances.
- Zhang's run started at the Princeton Invitational (Oct. 4-5), where she carded rounds of 74, 71 and 68 to finish two shots behind the leaders and take fourth place in the event. Her impressive third round was bogey-free and featured three birdies.
- At the weather shortened Quinnipiac Classic (Oct. 13-14) Zhang posted a dominant victory, winning the tournament by six strokes with a 36-hole score of one-under-par. Her cards featured 24 pars and seven birdies which were T7 and 1st in the field, respectively.
- Zhang became just the fifth golfer in program history to earn medalist honors in back-to-back tournaments. The sophomore now owns three career tournament victories.
- A Canada native, Zhang also led the team in scoring average (71.9), birdies (34) and pars (135) during the Fall season.
- Sophomore Lucy Yuan also posted strong results in the Fall, securing three top-25 finishes and two placements in the top 10 at the Quinnipiac Classic (Oct. 13-14) and the Lady Paladin Invitational (Sep. 19-21).
- Yuan carded 30 birdies and 119 pars in the Fall while posting a 74.8 scoring average.
- Senior captain Iris Wang recorded a 76.7 scoring average in the Fall and finished in the top 30 in two tournaments.
- Junior Bonnie Zhai carded 27 birdies in her Fall season and had one top 20 finish at the Princeton Invitational (Oct. 4-5).

Harvard women's golf will be back on the course on April 5 when it begins competing at the University of Maryland's Terps Invitational. The Crimson will compete in the tournament for the second consecutive year on Sunday (Apr. 5) and Monday (Apr. 6).
