PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Harvard men's tennis (12-10, 2-1 Ivy) swept Brown (15-11, 0-4 Ivy), 4-0, to start the weekend back in the win column.
The Bears began the match by winning on court two in doubles, but the Crimson responded to secure the doubles point.
Rohan Murali and
Kolos Kincses struck first on court one, defeating Ivan Sodan and Elliot Wasserman (Brown), 6-3.
James MacDonald and
Masato Perera then solidified the doubles point for Harvard with a 7-5 win on court three.
Harvard then tallied three straight-set wins to defeat the Bears without dropping up a point.
Nathan Blokhin added to the Crimson's lead first, beating Noah Hernandez (Brown) with a pair of 6-2 decisions on court three.
Mitchell Lee followed on court six, defeating Zander Bravo (Brown), 6-4, 6-4.
Rohan Murali ultimately sealed Harvard's win on court one over Ivan Sodan (Brown). The No. 60 nationally ranked player defeated his opponent, 7-5, 6-3.
