PRINCETON, N.J. – Two student athletes from the Harvard women's golf team were honored with All-Ivy League honors this afternoon after remarkable seasons on the course in 2025-26. Sophomores Vanessa Zhang and Lucy Yuan were named to the All-Ivy League First Team and Second Team, respectively, after leading the Crimson this season. A Canada native, Zhang landed on the First Team for the second consecutive season and Yuan earned her first career All-Conference honor.
 
The duo led Harvard to four top-five finishes in eight tournaments this season and capped off the strong season by helping Harvard finish in second place at the Ivy League Championship (Apr. 24-26).  
 
Zhang's unanimous First Team nomination comes after a season in which she secured two tournament championships and five top 10 finishes in eight tournaments. The sophomore impressively posted a 72.2 scoring average across 23 rounds played in 2025-26 to lead the team and finish in the top five in the Ivy League. Zhang recorded a 474-100-7 W-L-T mark in her second season in Cambridge, another team best.
 
The highlight of Zhang's season came in the Fall, when she captured back-to-back individual championships at the Quinnipiac Classic and the Lady Blue Hen Invitational. Zhang was named the Ivy League Golfer of the Month for her efforts on the course in October.
 
Lucy Yuan captures her first Ivy League honor after a strong sophomore season with the Crimson. The California native secured three top 10 finishes, including a second-place finish at the 2026 Ivy League Championship that also earned her a spot on the All-Championship Team. Her 74.2 scoring average over 23 rounds was the second-best mark on the Crimson.
 
The Bishop's School product impressively opened the 2025-26 campaign with a seventh-place finish at the Lady Paladin Invitational after posting a tournament score of four-under-par. Her other top 10 finish came at the Quinnipiac Classic, where she came in eighth-place.
