PENNSAUKEN, N.J. -- Harvard women's heavyweight rowing finished fourth in the team standings at the 50th Ivy League Rowing Championship on Sunday morning at Cooper River Park with all six boats competing in the grand finals. The varsity four paced Harvard-Radcliffe with a second-place finish and a silver medal.

Harvard-Radcliffe put a team on the podium in a NCAA-scoring race for the first time in nine years when the varsity four, stroked by Vivi Sun, overcame a slow start to push defending champion Yale all the way to the finish. The Bulldogs crossed the line first in 7:07.505 and the Black and White was a half a second back at 7:08.056.

The third and second varsity fours marked the first two races of the day with the Black and White's boats taking sixth and fifth, respectively. In the first eight-stroke race of the day, Harvard-Radcliffe, stroked by Asha Hug, claimed a point in the grand final with a sixth-place finish in 6:54.172.

The second and first varsity eights wrapped up the competition in the final two races of the morning. Claudia Chadwick stroked the Black and White to a fifth-place finish in 6:30.924, while stroke Alexia Fayd'herbe de Maudave and the varsity eight took sixth at 6:24.629.
