Bellamy, Crimson Sign Four to Class of 2030

Harvard women’s hockey welcomes latest recruiting class.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey Laura Bellamy '13 announced the Crimson's incoming first-year class on Monday. Bellamy, entering her fourth season behind the bench of her alma mater, and Harvard are coming off the biggest turnaround in the NCAA with a 14-win, year-over-year improvement and add this class to a team that is building off its 16th Beanpot title in program history.

The class totals four newcomers with three international signings, including goaltender Serra Yildir from Petawawa, Ont. Three forwards in Hilda Pakarinen (Sollentuna, Sweden), Lindsay Stepnowski (South Glastonbury, Conn.) and Kate Stuart (Stayner, Ont.) round out the class.

"We are thrilled to welcome the Class of 2030 into our program this fall," stated Bellamy. "Hilda, Lindsay, Kate and Serra represent the kind of student-athletes we want at Harvard: elite competitors, high-character teammates, and driven young women.

"They bring international experience and come from proven development environments that prepare student-athletes well for college hockey. We look forward to welcoming them to our program and seeing them make their mark as we continue our pursuit of excellence in women's hockey."
