Stroke Ben Scott and the varsity eight clinched a spot in Sunday's A Final at 3:04 pm ET with a second-place finish behind California. HUBC posted a time of 5:41.770; finishing just one seat behind Cal.

The second varsity took to the water next and rowed approximately 800m before the race was called off due to interference and race officials implemented a restart after the third varsity semifinals. After returning to the start, Syracuse and Princeton both push the HUBC boat, but Harvard pulled away late from Syracuse and nearly caught Princeton before taking second in a time of 5:43.170. Sunday's A final will take place at 2:08 pm ET.

In the third varsity, HUBC trailed at every milestone through the 1500m mark before overtaking Washington inside the red buoys in a time of 5:45.910; a 0.27-second margin of victory. The third varsity will compete in Sunday's A Final at 12:46 pm ET.

The varsity four, stroked by Adam Cech, raced in a highly-competitive final to end the day. California earned a wire-to-wire victory with Penn taking silver. Harvard, which was in fifth after the first 500m, charged in the second half to overtake Princeton and Washington on its way to the podium in a time of 6:31.180.
