CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's water polo team released its complete 2026 season schedule, which begins August 29, on Wednesday morning. The Crimson open the season by hosting the Bruno Classic and playing four matches over the weekend of August 29 and 30.
Overall, the schedule features 30 regular season matches, 12 at Blodgett Pool and two home tournaments. Harvard's second home tournament will be the Harvard Invitational October 17-18.
The season opener will be Cal Baptist (Aug. 29) followed by a match later that day against Air Force. The remaining matches of the Bruno Classic will be against Pacific and Wagner (Aug. 30).
Tournament season continues on the West Coast with the Aggie Roundup. Harvard plays San Jose State and California on September 5 and host UC Daivs on September 6.
Travelling back to the East Coast, the Crimson play back-to-back tournaments at Princeton (Sept. 12-13) and Brown (Sept. 26). In New Jersey, Harvard has a rematch with San Jose State and then plays Santa Clara on September 12. A day later, the Crimson faces Navy on September 13. At Brown, Harvard competes in a triple-header against Concordia, Johns Hopkins and Wheaton on September 26.
October begins with three NWPC road matches, starting at Princeton (Oct. 3) in the conference opener. The next day, the Crimson start at LIU before completing a morning-afternoon doubleheader with a match at Iona on October 4.
Harvard returns home for a single match against Brown (Oct. 10) before visiting MIT (Oct. 11). The Harvard Invitational is the following weekend with an October 17 doubleheader against Navy and Merced followed by a rematch against Pomona-Pitzer (Oct. 18).
The Crimson make one final regular season trip out west for the Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament, hosted by Santa Clara October 23-25. The weekend features matches against Pacific (Oct. 23), Pepperdine (Oct. 24), UC Davis (Oct. 24) and the host Broncos (Oct. 25).
Conference play resumes at Brown (Oct. 31) and continues with a home match against MIT (Nov. 1) that same weekend. A week later, Harvard hosts a November 7 doubleheader with Princeton and LIU before concluding the regular season against Iona (Nov. 8).

Ted Minnis, who enters his 17
th season at the helm of the program. Harvard is coming off a 20-10 season and 9-1 showing in the NWPC season with an appearance in the title game.
