The 2025-26 Harvard-Radcliffe women's lightweight rowing season was one of transition for the program.
John Lindberg was named the team's interim head coach and helped guide the team, along with assistant coach
Kate Kelly, to a successful campaign that started at the Head of the Charles and ended with a strong showing at the IRA National Championship Regatta in Sacramento, Calif.
The varsity eight opened the season by claiming a victory over Ivy League rival Princeton in New Jersey, while the second varsity four and 2x also earned wins at the start of the spring. Ranked No. 1 early in the season, Harvard rolled into the Knecht Cup in New Jersey and came away with a first-place finish in the varsity eight and runner-up finishes in the 2V8 and varsity four.
The Crimson's one home race of the season followed with Harvard retaining the Beanpot and Muri Cup against BU and MIT. Harvard was victorious in the V8 and V4A races.
Postseason racing arrived with the Women's Sprints at the EAWRC Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester. All four Crimson boats medaled with the V8 and 2xA earning silver; 4VA and 2xB earning bronze. Harvard wrapped the season at the IRA National Championship Regatta on Lake Natoma later in May with the varsity eight taking silver and 2xA taking bronze.
