CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The No. 18 Harvard men's water polo team heads to the Princeton Invitational this weekend. The Crimson open the weekend on Saturday at 11 a.m. against No. 11 San Jose State in a re-match of a contest of last weekend's Aggie Roundup in Davis, Calif.

Harvard completes a day-night doubleheader on Saturday with a 6:30 p.m. game against No. 17 Santa Clara. The weekend wraps up with an 11 a.m. game on Sunday against Navy.

There will not be any live stats or broadcasts available for any of Harvard's three matches hosted by Princeton.

About the Crimson
Harvard is 2-5 after dropping all three games at the Aggie Roundup last weekend. The Crimson were bested by No. 4 California, 16-7, and No. 10 San Jose State, 14-8, on day one of the competition. Against the host Aggies, Harvard battled against the No. 6 in the country after falling behind by six and twice cut the deficit to two before ultimately falling 17-13. First-year Clay Carrington followed up his NWPC Rookie of the Week honor with recorded a hat trick against Cal and was a force against UC Davis with five goals, including two penalty shots, and three assists. Senior Jack Burghardt, who scored 98 goals as a junior, notched a hat trick in last weekend's finale.

Among the Ranked
Harvard began the season No. 17 in the CWPA preseason poll and remain a top-20 program, currently tied for 18th, despite a 2-5 record. All five losses have come against opponents ranked in the top-13, including one-goal losses to No. 13 Cal Baptist and No. 11 Pacific. Last season, Harvard went 3-8 against ranked opponents.
