CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Harvard Football defensive end Josh Fedd has been named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. Fedd is one of 22 players overall and 11 from the FCS/Div. II/Div. III/NAIA level to be recognized by the AFCA for their commitment to service, academic achievement and athletic excellence. He is also the lone player from the Ivy League to land on the team.
This year's squad was selected from 162 nominees and includes representatives from every level of college football. The class also includes the first female student-athlete selected in the program's history, Northwestern College kicker Gianna Bennett. Beyond their accomplishments on the field, this year's honorees contributed more than 12,000 hours of volunteer service, raised more than $100,000 for charitable causes, launched seven community initiatives and foundations and used their NIL earnings to support causes they care about.

Fedd serves as Program Director for Harvard Student Agencies Tutoring, overseeing a program that has delivered more than 10,000 tutoring hours to underserved students. The Baltimore, Maryland native also spearheads educational initiatives through his work as the Head Teaching Fellow of The W.E.B. DuBois Society and serves as the president of the Harvard Association of Black Varsity Athletes, where he promotes community engagement and a greater professional collective consciousness amongst Black Athletes. A former valedictorian and Baltimore City Player of the Year, Fedd continues to create opportunities for others through education and mentorship.
On the field, Fedd has played in 19 career games with the Crimson, totaling 32 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss. Last season, he posted career highs in tackles (26), tackles for loss (3.5) and sacks (3), while playing in all 11 games. In three seasons with the Crimson, Fedd has helped Harvard win three Ivy League championships and a berth in the 2025 NCAA FCS Playoffs.
For the third year, Allstate and the Wuerffel Foundation will award the Allstate Wuerffel Trophy to one of the team's 11 FBS semi-finalists during The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 11. The recipient also serves as the Good Works Team captain.
