Senior (2023-24)

Served as the team captain … Competed in all eight events in the Crimson lineup … Had 18 of her 21 rounds factor into the team scoring … Posted a 75.48 scoring average as a senior … Finished in the top-20 four times this season … Recorded three rounds of par or better … Opened the year with a T27 finish at the Princeton Invitational (Sept. 16-17) … Carded rounds of 78-73-74 to finish 12-over-par with a 225 … Came in T15, tied for the best finish on the team, at the Yale Invitational (Oct. 1) with a three-over-par round of 75 … Came in T32 at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate – the best finish on the team – with a two-over-par tournament score of 218 after shooting 71-73-74 … Her best outing of the year came at the Lady Blue Hen Invitational (Oct. 21-22) where she shot a six-over par 222 to come in T11 … Yan’s rounds of 79-73-70 helped Harvard take first place in the event … Opened the Spring season with a 15-over-par score of 231 at the Tulane Classic (Mar. 10-12) to come in T47 … Shot a 13-over-par 229 at the Lady Bison Bay Point Classic (Mar. 22-24) … Her rounds of 76-74-79 were good for T14 and helped Harvard take first place in the field … Came in T11 at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational (Apr. 6-7) … Carded rounds of 72-77 to finish the tournament five-over-par with a 149 … Ended the year with a T22 finish at the Ivy League Championships (Apr. 19-21) … Shot 81-76-79 at the tournament to finish with a 20-over-par score of 236.

Junior (2022-23)

Team captain... Competed in all seven tournaments during the season... Averaged a score of 74.32 over 18.5 rounds which was second lowest on the team... Earned a first place finish in the Intercollegiate @ Prospect Bay with a score of three-over-par... Placed second at the Yale Invitational with a score of five-under-par... Notched a career low round score of 68 in the first round of the Yale Invitational... Finished tied for ninth at the Harvard Invitational with a score of three-over-par.

Sophomore (2021-22)

Second-team All-Ivy selection...Posted a scoring average of 76.05 for the season...Was in the starting lineup in six tournament for the Crimson, serving as a counting score in 17 of 18 rounds...Fired a season-best 72 at the Yale Invitational (Oct. 9-10) on her way to a T38 finish...Tied for 21st at the UD Lady Blue Hen Invitational (Oct. 16-17) with scores of 76-76-78...Had best result of the season at the Hoya Invitational (April 9-10) where she tied for sixth after shooting 77-76-75. Finished in the top-10 at the Ivy League Championship (April 22-24) carding 73-75-77. 

First Year (2019-20)

Appeared in all four fall tournaments ... Posted a 75.80 scoring average ... Fired a career-best round of 70 on day two of the Dartmouth Invitational (Sept. 14-15) and finished 10th with a two-day total of 146 (76-70) to help Harvard to first place team finish ... Helped Harvard to fourth place finish at the Yale Women''s Fall Intercollegiate (Oct. 4-6), turning in a three-day score of 225 (77-73-75) ... Posted a three-day total of 228  (74-77-77) at the Delaware Lady Blue Hen Invitational. 

Before Harvard

Meiyi decided golf would be her sport after five years of competitive figure skating and one season of ice hockey.
