Before Harvard:
Lettered three times at Bishop Miege, starting at right guard as a junior and left tackle as a senior… Named team captain for his senior campaign… Was a first-team all-Eastern Kansas League, all-state and all-city selection as a senior… Earned honorable mention all-league and all-state as a junior… Guided Bishop Miege win the Eastern Kansas League championship as a sophomore and was part of a program that won the 4A state title four times, which helped the school tie the state record of six consecutive crowns… Made the Principal’s Honor Roll all four years… Volunteered at the Exceptionals Baseball League for those with mental or physical limitations that prohibit them from playing in ordinary leagues… Father, Robert ’88, played football at Harvard… Brother, Jack, plays football at Cornell and is part of the Class of 2022.
