Joe Manion, who begins his fourth season of his second stint in 2022, joined the Harvard football staff in 2021 after serving as the Army West Point Director of Recruiting Operations. While at Army, Manion managed the recruiting database, assisted in recruiting operations and worked with team operations and travel operations.

Manion previously worked with the Harvard football staff in 2019, and assisted with recruiting and operations. In that role, Manion helped with recruiting operations, evaluations and logistics of all recruiting events. 

During the 2018 season, Manion worked at Villanova as a recruiting assistant. He and the recruiting staff helped land the No. 2 recruiting class in the FCS. 

Manion earned his master’s degree in collegiate athletic administration in 2018 from the University of Nebraska. He graduated from St. Joseph’s University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in sports marketing. Manion was a Division I baseball player for the Hawks.
