Freshman (2016-17):
Saw action in 22 games ... Averaging 2.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 8.4 minutes per game ... Played 15 minutes at UMass (Nov. 26), scoring a personal-best seven points on 3-of-6 shooting, adding two rebounds ... Scored four points against GW (Nov. 29) and Fordham (Dec. 3) ... Matched his career high with seven points, shooting 2-of-5 from the floor and 3-4 from the free throw line against Cornell (Feb. 18) ... Scored four points in 10 minutes against Brown (Feb. 25) ... Saw 14 minutes of action at Princeton (March 3), scoring three points and pulling down five rebounds ... Posted a personal best eight points at Penn (March 4) on3-of-5 shooting. 

Robert Baker with Mike Smith, the Edgerley Family Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences and the John H. Finley, Jr. Professor of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Dean Smith is a mainstay at Harvard athletics events, and has been a great supporter of the Men’s Basketball program. In fact, Dean Smith began his deanship in July 2007, shortly after Coach Amaker was hired. It has been a terrific decade!

Background:
Four-year starter on the basketball team at The Walker School and earned two varsity letters as a member of the baseball team … Served as captain of the basketball team at The Walker School for three seasons … Received first team All-State, All-Region, All-County, and team MVP honors as a junior and senior … Graduated as The Walker School’s all-time leading scorer with 1,535 career points … McDonalds All-America Nominee … Was a member of the National Latin Honor Society and a National Latin Exam Gold Medalist … Was also a four-year member of the Latin Club, concert band, and jazz band, and was a member of the chess club.
