Pietra Sweeney joined the Harvard sports medicine staff prior to the 2021-22 academic year and works with the Harvard football, men’s and women’s track and field, and men’s and women’s cross country teams.
Before coming to Harvard, Sweeney received a master’s degree in athletic training at Boston University. During her time with the program, she gained clinical experiences at Boston University, Boston College, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
A native of Acton, Mass., Sweeney gained a bachelor’s degree in health science from Boston University, where she was a member and captain of the Terriers’ women’s soccer team.
