Following some time away in the fall of 2019, Amy Lwin returns to Cambridge as the Volunteer Assistant coach for the 2020 season.

Lwin is a familiar face in Cambridge as she began coaching with Harvard softball in the fall of 2017 as the Volunteer Assistant Coach. Under coach Jenny Allard, Lwin worked in individual player development and helped full time staff in managing the roster of 20 college athletes.

Most recently, in 2019 Lwin worked as a performance coach and content developer for Valor Performance. While there she used evidence-based sport and performance psychology skills to coach clients on optimal performance mindset.

From September of 2017 to May of 2019 she served as a Sport Psychology Intern at Tufts University in Medford, Mass. While there she used evidence based mental skills to provide performance counseling to individual athletes from various varsity teams. She also worked with coaches in developing mental skills training programs to better improve the varsity teams.

In spring of 2013, Lwin was named Assistant Softball Coach at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges where she stayed till fall of 2017. While there she developed practiced plans for the team, successfully recruited high academic student-athletes nationally and served as a representative of the college at events around the United States.  

Lwin received her Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from University of California, Riverside in 2013. From there she went on to get her Master’s degree in Counseling and Sport Psychology from Boston University in May of 2019.
