Heidi Banks will begin her seventh season as the Harvard women's basketball director of basketball operations in 2021-22.

Banks arrived in Cambridge after spending four seasons as an assistant coach at Amherst College. With the Jeffs, Banks was responsible for guard development, while also assisting with film exchange, recruiting and team administrative duties.

During her four years, Banks helped the Jeffs to two Final Four appearances. In 2014-15, Amherst posted a 25-4 overall record, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen and finishing with a national rank of No. 12.

A four-year letterwinner at Long Island University, Banks was a two-time captain for the Blackbirds, closing out her career ranked fifth all-time in three-pointers. A three-time Northeast Conference Academic Honor Roll selection, Banks graduated cum laude from LIU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Marketing.

Banks resides in Lancaster, Mass. with her husband Adam and son Desmond.
