Kat Wright will enter her second season as an assistant coach with the Crimson in 2022-23. Wright previously served as a volunteer player development coordinator in 2020-21.

Wright joined the Crimson after completing her college career with Florida Atlantic University and the University of Arizona. Wright spent three seasons at Florida Atlantic, before joining Arizona's women's basketball program for her senior year after taking a medical redshirt at FAU.

During her three-year career with the Owls, Wright played in 84 games and started in 71 of them. She averaged 7.4 points per game and made 145 three-pointers while shooting 34.5 percent from downtown. With Arizona, Wright played and started in all 30 games, averaging 7.1 points per game and reaching the 200-career made three-pointers mark, finishing her career with 203.

Wright spent 2019-20 as a graduate assistant with the University of Florida women's basketball program. She assisted in recruiting, scouting and playbook organization. Wright graduated from Florida Atlantic in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in management, later earning her master's in sport management from the University of Florida in 2020.
