Mary Foster joined the Radcliffe lightweight crew coaching staff in September 2018 and will begin her fourth season as an assistant coach with the program in 2021-22.

Familiar with the Crimson, Foster spent three years prior in Cambridge as a volunteer assistant coach. In the role, she served as the primary coach for the 3rd Varsity 8+ boat. She also assisted with coaching all boats, including the 1V, 2V, V4 and V2x.

Along with her time at Harvard, Foster spent time as a rowing coach at Community Rowers, Inc., the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School and the Charles River Scullers. 

Competing at the collegiate level, Foster served as a team captain her senior season at Loyola Marymount, earning West Coast Conference all-conference first-team honors.

Foster received a Bachelor of Science in natural science at Loyola Marymount and a Master of Science in athletic training at Bridgewater State.
