Jenny Lui

Jenny Lui began her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2016 spring season.

Lui helped guide the Crimson to the Ivy League 7's Championship title and an 11-8 record in 7's play.

Lui most recently comes from playing for the Glendale Raptors of the Women’s Premier League during the 2015 season, guiding the team to its second-straight WPL National Championship. She was also key in guiding the Chicago North Shore to the D1 National Championship in 2011.

A USA national team member, Lui earned her first USA 7s cap playing under Head Coach Sue Parker. Lui went on to receive her first USA 15s cap under Pete Steinberg and continues to compete for the 15s squad with the goal of making it to the 2017 World Cup.

Lui was a two-time All-American on Penn State’s women’s rugby team, helping the team claim the 2004 Division I National Championship in her final campaign.

In her time away from the field, Lui works as a freelance writer and co-owner of Project Rugby Love.

Lui graduated from Penn State with a bachelor in communications in 2004 and went on to receive her masters in communications from Virginia Commonwealth in 2007.
