Attended West Greene High School, playing basketball and participating in track and field … Played forward for the West Greene Pioneers basketball team, while specializing in the discus, shot put and javelin for the track and field team … In the classroom, she finished as the valedictorian of her class, was captain of the Academic League, member of the National Honor Society, Chemistry Club and was the school Treasurer as a senior… She was also very active in extracurricular activities, as a member of the mock trial team, as a stage manager and director of school productions, a tutor and as a member of marching and concert bands.
