Posted a season-best 24.16 in the 50 free at the Hall of Fame Invitational, which was the team''s eighth-best performance of the year ... Finished the 100 free in 52.50 at HYP, good for the team''s ninth-fastest time of the season ... Logged a season-best 1:57.20 in the 200 free at the Hall of Fame Invitational ... Competed in the 100 fly at the Hall of Fame Invitational and produced a time of 59.67 ... Was a part of the team''s third-fastest 200 free relay team of the season (1:34.46) at the Hall of Fame Invitational ... Holly Christensen was a four-year varsity swimmer and a senior captain at Hunterdon Central High School. During her time in the pool, Christensen placed first at the Meet of Champions in the 50 free (2014, 2015) and the 100 free (2015). She was a member of the New Jersey High School State Championship team in 2014, and was named the All-West Jersey Swimmer of the Year (2012-15). As a senior, Christensen was tabbed the Skyland Conference Swimmer of the Year). She also was an All-American in the 50 free (2013) and the 100 free (2014).
Christensen was selected as a Junior National Team member in 2013, before earning third at SC Y and LC Y Nationals (50 free, 2014), fourth at SC Y Nationals (100 free, 2015) and first at NJ Y States 100 free (2015). Out of the pool, she is an AP Scholar, a member of both the Spanish Honor Society and the National Honor Society, and was a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American in 2013-15.
Her grandfather, Jon Christensen ''61, played for Harvard''s football team, and is a Harvard Varsity Club Founding Lifetime member. Away from the pool, Christensen enjoys running, hiking, biking, listening to music, beach volleyball and yoga.
