Posted the team''s sixth-fastest time of the season in the 50 (23.76) and 200 free (1:50.02) at the Hall of Fame Invitational, and the seventh best at the same event in the 100 free (51.45) ... Went 2:03.34 in the 200 IM at Ivies to end the season ranked sixth on the team ... Junior - 2017-18
Placed fifth in the 200 butterfly (2:01.25) and sixth in the 200 IM (2:03.93) at HYP ... Finished ninth in the 200 butterfly (2:08.90) against Brown and Penn .. Sophomore - 2016-17
Eighth in the ‘B’ final of the 200 fly, third in the 400 IM ‘C’ final and sixth in the ‘C’ final of the 200 IM … Placed 14th in the 100 free, 11th in the 200 fly and 14th in the 200 IM at H-Y-P … Fourth in the 200 fly and eighth in the 100 free vs. Brown and Penn … Runner-up in the 200 fly and fourth in the 200 breast against Columbia … Top finisher in the ‘D’ final of the 400 IM at the Texas Invite … Third in the 100 fly against Cornell and Dartmouth.
Freshman - 2015-16
Finished ninth against Cornell and Dartmouth in the 100 fly (1:00.10) … Claimed fifth in the 200 free (1:56.29) and in the 100 free (54.23) against Columbia … Took sixth in the 200-meter (2:08.79) and eighth in the 200 backstroke (2:08.59) against Brown and Penn … Registered Harvard’s fourth-best time in the 200 fly (2:03.34) at the ECAC Championships … Also had Harvard’s fifth-fastest times in the 200 IM (2:02.93), the 400 IM (4:24.13) and the 100 free (51.88) at the ECAC Championships.

Valierie Yoshimura is an excellent competitor between the lanes, as she was a 2012 Olympic Trial Qualifier, six-time All American, three-time Scholastic All American, five-time National Qualifier, six-time Junior National Qualifier, two-time Eastern Champion and named an NISCA Academic All American. Out of the pool, Yoshimura earned the Yale Book Award and AAPT Physics Student of the Year accolades.
