Fiona Moriarty joined the coaching staff as the volunteerassistant for the men’s long distance runners and the crosscountry team in Sept. 2012. In her first season with the Crimson,she saw the women's cross country team qualify for its first NCAAChampionships since 1983, and also saw the men qualify twoindividuals for NCAAs. She was also a key contributor in MaksimKorolev's '14 All-America campaign in the 10,000.

Moriarty has also worked as the social media correspondent forthe New York Road Runners where she handled online public relationsfor the ING New York City Marathon and the New York City HalfMarathon.

Moriarty is currently a member of NFAC Running, an elitetraining group for long-distance runners. In her time with thegroup, she has won the Firefighter 10K in Oct. 2012, and placedsecond in the Mass 5 Mile Race in Nov. 2011.

She attended Williams College where she was an All-NESCAC andAll-ECAC runner in the 800m and 4x800m. Moriarty graduated withhighest honors with a bachelor’s degree in Art History, andshe also received a World Travel Fellowship in her four yearsthere.

In addition to her role with the Crimson, Moriarty is alsocurrently working as a gait analyst and salesperson for MarathonSports.
