James Sica joins the Harvard Women’s Swimming& Diving program for the 2014-2015 season as a volunteerassistant coach.

Before arriving at Harvard, Sica spent twoyears working as an assistant coach for themen’s swimming & diving team at Ithaca College in Ithaca,New York. He also worked year-round as a coach for Swim Ithaca, aUSA club team. During his time coaching for IC and Swim Ithaca,James earned his Masters degree in exercise and sport science, witha concentration in sport psychology in 2014.

Sica completed his undergraduate studies at IthacaCollege, where he graduated in 2012 with degrees writing andEnglish. He competed in breaststroke, IM, and distance freestyleevents, and was a captain of the men’s team his senior year.Sica is also the associate head coach for the Cambridge MastersSwim Club.
