Jeffrey Botwick

Jeff Botwick began his role as an Assistant Director of Development, Athletics in January of 2023, after serving as an Athletics Ticket Office Manager the previous six years. Botwick will help develop and execute annual fundraising strategies for Harvard’s 26 Friends Groups in concert with volunteers and FAS Development staff. He will facilitate best practices for Friends Board management including volunteer roles and expectations, gift appeals, and alumni outreach and engagement.

Botwick spent the last six years as Ticket Office Manager with Harvard Athletics, overseeing all aspects of ticket sales and event operations and generating $1 million-plus in revenue annually. Showcasing an inherent passion for relationship building, he planned and executed the season ticket renewal process for Harvard's (7) revenue generating sports resulting in an average customer retention rate of 80 percent.

Always one to encourage fan engagement, Botwick launched a new outreach program in 2019 to connect Harvard student-athletes with youth living in the surrounding community. The Harvard Crimson Reading Program sends Harvard athletes into local schools to read and mentor the students; in return, the school children are invited to attend a home athletics contest and watch their new favorite players in action.

Prior to Harvard Athletics, Botwick served as a Ticket Office Assistant at Agganis Arena, a multi-purpose entertainment venue at Boston University.

A native of East Greenwich, Rhode Island, Botwick graduated from Endicott College in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in sports management and later earned his master's degree from Northeastern University in sports leadership in 2015.
