Joe Bradlee joined Harvard Athletics in March of 2024, serving as the Assistant Director of Athletics, Marketing and Fan Engagement. Bradlee returns to his hometown of Cambridge after spending eleven seasons in the Boston Red Sox organization, where he began his career as an Intern at Fenway Park in 2012.
A graduate of Union College, Bradlee leads and oversee the development of Harvard's marketing and fan experience strategy across all 42 varsity teams, working with the staff to further enhance the Crimson's ticket, sponsorship, merchandise, and concession sales efforts.
During his eight seasons with Boston's Triple-A franchise, Bradlee assumed five different roles within the organization, and in January was named SVP, Community & Player Relations- Assistant General Manager. During his extensive tenure with the Worcester Red Sox, Bradlee served on the executive leadership team that oversaw the opening of Polar Park in 2021. During the franchise's relocation process from Pawtucket, RI, Bradlee served as a key communication contact between the club, government officials, and community stakeholders.
Along with his involvement in the team's relocation, Bradlee directed the club's community outreach directives. Under his leadership, the Worcester Red Sox earned the 2021 Community Champion Award at Baseball's Winter Meetings. Along with the coveted Community Champion Award, Bradlee and his team guided the Triple-A franchise to reach new heights in paid attendance and corporate sponsorship revenue, which led all 120 Minor League teams in both 2022 and 2023.
Outside of his work in sports, Bradlee serves on several non-profit boards including the Worcester Public Library Foundation, Working for Worcester, and is an advisor for the Cambridge Community Foundation. Bradlee graduated from Union College in 2014 with a degree in Political Science and English and was a four-year starter on their Varsity Baseball team.
