Sara Cushman rejoined the Harvard ski team as an assistantNordic coach in September, 2008.

A 1997 Harvard graduate with aconcentration in anthropology, Cushman was a four-year varsityskier for the Crimson and a former Captain of the Harvard NordicSki Team.  She served as the Nordic Coach from 1998-2002before taking some time away from the sport to attend law school atBoston College. As coach of the Crimson team, Cushman twice tookskiers to the NCAA National Championships, those trips coming in2000 and 2001.

While at Harvard, Cushman also playedsoftball and earned All-Ivy League status in 1994.

When not on skis, Cushman works as anattorney at a Boston law firm and also enjoys cycling. She competesin cyclocross races and recently completed a ride across theU.S.
