Crimson Drops Ivy Opener to Dartmouth, 3-0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's volleyball team lost its Ivy League opener to Dartmouth, 3-0, Friday night. The Big Green won 25-15, 25-22, 25-23 to take the early lead in the Ancient Eight standings.

Sophomore Anne Carroll Ingersoll led the Crimson with 11 kills and three blocks, while sophomore Christine Wu and freshman Taylor Docter paced the team in digs with 12 a piece. Senior Lily Durwood handed out 33 assists.

Defensively , the Crimson outpaced the Big Green, holding a 60-54 advantage in digs. Harvard will look to get back in the league race when it travels to Hanover, N.H., Oct. 3.
