The No. 5 Harvard men's squash team will take to the road for
the first time in 2010-11 this weekend. The Crimson will visit No.
6 Cornell on Saturday and No. 4 Rochester welcomes Harvard on
Sunday.
Last Time Out
Harvard dropped two individual matches for the first time this
season but recovered to down Dartmouth, 7-2. The win moved the
Crimson to 3-0 overal and 2-0 in the Ivy League.
About Harvard
The Crimson have relied on some young talent in its early season
dominance. Four freshmen currently play significant roles in
Harvard's top nine, and each is still undefeated.
About Cornell
Cornell will host its first home match of the season on Saturday
when the Crimson visit Ithaca, N.Y. The Big Red captured 5-4 wins
over Franklin and Marshall, as well as Penn, before Princeton
dropped them, 6-3.
About Rochester
The Yellowjackets are currently 4-0 this season. After defeating
Western Ontario 8-1 to open the season, Rochester has added wins
over St. Lawrence, Hobart and Vassar.
Last Season's Meetings
Harvard beat Cornell a year ago Sunday, 6-3, at the Barnaby Courts.
Rochester handed the Crimson its first loss last season, 7-2.
Next Up
Harvard will be off until Jan. 26 when it welcomes Trinty to the
Barnaby Courts.
