BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Harvard women's
golf team defeated Lynn University in a duel match, 298-326, at the
Boca Woods 6,050-yard, par 72 Lakes Course.
Claire Sheldon led all golfers with an even par round of 72
while Maha Haddioui had the lowest score amongst Fighting Knight
golfers with a 77.
In the team event, Harvard golfers recorded the top four rounds
with Sheldon leading the way and Katie Sylvan and Jane Lee
finishing close behind with a pair of 75s. Christine Cho fired a 76
and Chloe Atlchek finished with an 86, respectively, to round our
Harvard's team contributors.
Manavi Halwasiya, Ellen Chambers and Thalia Baigorria all
recorded rounds of 83 for Lynn, followed closely by Donia Scarello,
who shot an 84.
In addition to the team play, each school had individual
participate. Ai Kongpaisarnnatee led LU's individuals with a
79. Rebecca Mangone shot an 81 with Gabriela Canals carding
an 85 and Anne Van den Bosch recording a 95. Harvard's Mia
Kabasakalis and Sarah Harvey headed into the clubhouse with rounds
of 77 and 82.
